One person died and three others were wounded after a shooting at a luxury hotel in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning.

Police are still searching for the shooter.

Authorities say the incident began with a fight around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at The Standard on Flower Street.

Four people were eventually taken to the hospital, where one died and the others were in stable condition.

TV reports showed the shattered glass doors to the lobby and bloody clothing just outside.

It wasn't immediately clear whether the victims were staying at the hotel. Details of the shooting remain sketchy.
