TULSA, Okla. – Hillary Clinton says her opponents "talk a lot" about defeating terrorists but that when it comes to defeating the Islamic State group, she's the lone candidate with a specific plan.
Clinton says she's "been in the situation room" of the White House and knows what it will take to keep America safe. The Democratic presidential candidate was speaking in the aftermath a major terrorist attack in Paris and a massacre in California under investigation by the FBI as an act of terrorism.
The former Secretary of State reiterated she would not send American ground troops to the region if elected president. Clinton says it's "not smart" and is what terrorists would want to happen.
Clinton was campaigning in Oklahoma, which is among several "Super Tuesday" states holding contests in March.
