Seattle police have released dash-cam videos showing a carjacker speeding the wrong way up a one-way street, firing out the window at pursuing officers and finally spinning out his stolen sports car as police shot and killed him.

No bystanders or officers suffered significant injuries in the events Sunday afternoon, which began when workers at a Pike Place Market coffee shop reported a man with a gun.

Police said late Monday that the 35-year-old carjacker pulled guns at several businesses before fleeing from a tattoo shop and stealing a Volkswagen at gunpoint.

He stole another car at a rental lot and led police on a 70-mph chase through north Seattle before officers slammed into the Camaro head-on.

About a dozen officers fired shots.
