Police: 3 killed, child injured, inside Ohio home; suspect dead

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Authorities say three people are dead and a child injured after they were all shot inside their home.

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Monday on the west side of Columbus.

Authorities say the suspect was shot and killed by police outdoors a couple of blocks from where the shooting took place.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital. Additional details were not immediately known.

The home was surrounded by several police vehicles, with the street shut down for several blocks in both directions.
