A man accused of killing seven people in New Jersey and Pennsylvania over a seven-week period is due in court on some of the charges.

Twenty-two-year-old Todd West and two co-defendants face a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on homicide and robbery counts.

Police have said West confessed to the July 5 shooting deaths of a man and a woman in Allentown.

West, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, is charged separately with four homicides in Elizabeth and a fifth homicide in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Authorities have not revealed a motive for any of the homicides but say they have found no connection among the victims.
