OAKLAND, Calif. – Three people have been shot five blocks from the NBA championship celebration for the Golden State Warriors in Oakland.
Police say they received a call shortly after noon and found three victims with gunshot wounds.
Neither the condition of the victims nor their identities were immediately released. A motive wasn't clear.
The Oakland Tribune reports (http://bayareane.ws/1Loie4h ) that witnesses told police the gunman ran away. The newspaper says three ambulances were called to the scene.
