A man captured in Florida 15 months after his parents were found strangled in their burning New Hampshire home has been jailed without bail on murder charges.

Matthew Dion (DYE'-ahn) appeared via video Friday morning for his arraignment in Manchester District Court in New Hampshire. Wearing a blue prison jumpsuit, he said nothing during the brief hearing. A probable cause hearing is set for June 19.

The 39-year-old Dion was caught June 3 in Florida after a manhunt that put him on the U.S. Marshals Service's most wanted list.

He is charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of 71-year-old Robert Dion and 67-year-old Constance Dion in March 2014.

He was arrested after a media campaign generated tips in Georgia and Florida.
