COLUMBUS, Ohio – Authorities say two armed Ohio teenagers suspected in a three-state crime spree have been captured after a police pursuit.
The sheriff's office in Wyandot County, Ohio, says it got word Saturday that a 16-year-old boy from Upper Sandusky and a 15-year-old girl from Sycamore were in the custody of West Virginia State Police.
Authorities said the duo crashed a vehicle that had been stolen in Pennsylvania and fled on foot before they were caught.
The Wyandot County sheriff says West Virginia and Pennsylvania state police are jointly investigating a series of crimes they believe is connected to the juveniles.
Authorities say the teens' parents have been notified and are traveling to New Martinsville, West Virginia, to meet with investigators.
