A woman who took ownership of a Maine country inn by winning an essay contest is ready to announce the winner of a second contest aimed at finding a new owner.

Janice Sage from the Center Lovell Inn & Restaurant planned to notify the winner on Saturday.

Sage took ownership of the inn herself by winning an essay contest more than two decades ago.

The three-story inn has seven guestrooms and stunning views of the White Mountains.

Sage had said she expected more than 7,500 entries, meaning she'd receive more than $900,000 at $125 per entry. She says she plans to use the money for her retirement.
