MORRISTOWN, N.J. – A Massachusetts woman who gunned down her boyfriend's wife while the couple was on a walk with their toddler son in New Jersey has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Friday's sentencing was part of a plea agreement in which 30-year-old Antionette Stephen of Billerica testified against 29-year-old Kashif Parvaiz, of New York City.
Stephen says she used two guns to kill Parvaiz's 27-year-old Pakistan-born wife, Nazish Noorani, and wound Parvaiz in 2011 to try to make the shooting look like a bias attack or robbery. She says she was following Parvaiz's orders.
Parvaiz was found guilty of murder and other charges and was sentenced to life plus 10 years in prison.
