Police say the man who plowed his SUV into a New York City fast food restaurant, killing a 7-year-old boy, has been arrested.
Seventy-three-year old Kwasi Oduro was arrested after fleeing the scene. The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Kennedy's Chicken and Sandwiches in the Bronx.
Police say a Mercedes SUV driven by Oduro man reversed into the restaurant's front window, striking three patrons seated inside, a 34-year-old man, his 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter.
All three were taken to a hospital where the boy — identified as Ethan Villavicencio, of the Bronx — was pronounced dead. The father and daughter were listed in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing.
