Man charged in January deadly shooting at Houston auto dealership that killed 3

HOUSTON – A Houston man has been charged with capital murder in a shooting at a used car dealership that left two brothers and a son dead.

Houston jail records show 21-year-old James Tinsley IV was being held without bond Monday in the Jan. 8 shootings. Police didn't immediately release a possible motive or further details on what led officers to the suspect.

The attack happened at Immaculate Auto Sales in Houston. A mechanic found the bodies of co-owners 60-year-old Tony Contreras and 51-year-old Jesse Contreras.

The older victim's son, 22-year-old Casey Contreras, died later at a Houston hospital. Police say all three victims were shot in the head.

Jail records did not list an attorney for Tinsley who could comment on the allegations. Tinsley was arrested Saturday.
