The obituary of a Pennsylvania woman who died Friday offers the usual information found in someone’s final printed postscript.

Dorothy A. “Stella” Scrobola was born July 14, 1930. She was “a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her.” She graduated from high school. She worked as a personal care nurse. She married a doctor. She raised six children.

But read to the end of the death notice and there’s an unusual detail: She is survived by “a shitload of grandchildren,” according to the item, published in the Times Leader (Pa.) newspaper from April 26 to April 28.

Is that more than a fistful and less than an armload?
