A man rescued from a disabled sailboat 200 miles off the North Carolina coast says he survived for more than two months adrift at sea by catching fish and capturing rainwater in a bucket.

It's not clear how long after Louis Jordan's 35-foot boat left its South Carolina dock on Jan. 23 that it capsized and had its mast broken. The boat was floating upright again when he waved down a passing container ship on Thursday.

The bearded 37-year-old walked out of a Norfolk hospital early Friday, showing no obvious ill effects.

Jordan says he rationed the water he had and prayed to God.
