A co-defendant charged in the killing of a Las Vegas mother of four in a shooting in a residential cul-de-sac got a lawyer and pleaded not guilty.

Attorney Martin Hart declined outside court to talk about the case after 26-year-old Derrick Andrews entered his plea Tuesday to murder, attempted murder, weapon and conspiracy charges.

Police say Andrews drove the getaway car during the attack.

Nineteen-year-old Erich Milton Nowsch Jr. previously pleaded not guilty to the same charges in the Feb. 12 shooting of Tammy Meyers.

Trial is scheduled May 26.

Andrews faces the same charges as Nowsch because he's accused of aiding and abetting the crime.

Prosecutors are expected to decide Wednesday whether to seek the death penalty.
