A Las Vegas mother mistakenly believed that a sedan used in a shooting that left her fatally injured was the same one that she and her teenage daughter had encountered during a road rage confrontation.

That's one new revelation in grand jury testimony in the murder case against 19-year-old Erich Milton Nowsch Jr.

Another is that Nowsch suggested to police the shooting was self-defense.

Prosecutor David Stanton says investigators haven't identified the driver of a gray car who Tammy Meyers' 15-year-old daughter, Kristal, says threatened them.

But Kristal Meyers told grand jurors she knows Nowsch, and it wasn't him.

The grand jury was told Tammy Meyers went looking with her adult son and his gun for the first driver, and ended up in the fatal gunbattle with Nowsch.
