A 20-year-old man from the Cleveland area has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder charges in the shooting of three people at a barbershop.
A judge in Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County also raised the bond for Douglas Shine Jr. from $500,000 to $5 million on Thursday.
Shine was in court for the first time since being indicted in the Feb. 5 shooting at Chalk Linez barbershop in Warrensville Heights.
He's accused of killing the barbershop's 32-year-old owner and two of the man's friends. Three other people were shot and injured.
Officials haven't commented on a possible motive. A message seeking comment from Shine's attorney wasn't immediately returned Thursday.
Shine was released from prison in December after serving two years for robbery and weapons charges.
