WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio – A man accused of a suburban Cleveland barbershop shooting that left three people dead and three others injured has been arrested.
Warrensville Heights police say Douglas Shine Jr. was apprehended early Friday at a home in Cleveland. Officers acting on a tip he was there arrested him without incident.
Shine is accused of opening fire in the Chalk Linez barbershop on Feb. 5, killing owner William Gonzalez and his friends Walter Lee Barfield and Brandon White. Barfield worked for Gonzalez at the barbershop, and White went in that night to get his hair cut and play video games.
Three other people were shot but survived.
Police haven't disclosed a possible motive for the shooting.
Shine has been jailed and can't be reached for comment. There's no defense attorney information available.
