The ex-wife of a man on trial in the murder of Etan Patz (AY'-tahn paytz) in 1979 says he kept an image of the boy in a shoebox.
Daisy Rivera testified Monday that her former husband, Pedro Hernandez, possessed part of a missing poster bearing Etan's photo.
Rivera says she found it in a shoebox Hernandez kept in the mid-1980s.
The two have been divorced for more than two decades. Prosecutors haven't said they have the photo in their possession.
Hernandez confessed to luring 6-year-old Etan to the basement with a promise of a soda, then strangling him and dumping his body with curbside trash. The boy's body has never been found. Hernandez pleaded not guilty. His lawyer says the confession is fiction.
