Tracking The Islamic Terrorists in France

The manhunt intensifies today for two terrorists who carried out a gruesome massacre at a satirical French newspaper. Video shot of the carnage shows apparently well-trained assailants systematically murdering 10 journalists and two police officers. The two men have been identified as Cherif and Said Kouachi.. radical Islamic terrorists. At least one of the brothers was already on security forces radar. Cherif Kouachi was convicted on a terror charge in 2005. The two men are considered armed and dangerous. Another suspect turned himself into police. There are some reports of terror raids being carried out. We hear that 7 have been detained already. There are also reports that the two prime suspects were spotted at a gas station in Northern France. France has declared a day of mourning, and remains on its highest alert level.

Another French police officer was killed today.. when she attempted to investigate an accident. A street sweeper was also shot. No word on any tie to the terror attack.

Winter weather leading to school closures and mandatory shelter for some homeless people. It is below freezing or in the single digits for big parts of the country.

Look to markets for another pop today.. it would a third day of gains. Investors reassured by a strong ADP jobs report yesterday, and intrigued over the possibility of a stimulus from the Europeans.

The White House says it will veto a new bill expected to pass the House today that would redefine a full work week as 40 hours instead of 30. The Obama Administration says it's an attempt to chip away at Obamacare.

Republicans set to markup legislation to approve the Keystone pipeline project.. which also faces a veto from President Obama.

President Obama will make remarks on housing from Phoenix at 12:45pm.. he'll call for bigger discounts on mortgages for first time and minority buyers. Some parts of the housing sector remain weak.

41 bodies have now been recovered in the crash of AirAsia. The remaining 121 bodies are believed to be trapped in the plane's wreckage. The fuselage is reportedly near the plane's tail on the ocean floor. Weather has prevented the recovery of the tail or the black boxes.
