Two lawyers have filed a defamation lawsuit against prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz after he said they lied about him when they claimed he had sex with a female client of theirs when she was underage.

Bradley J. Edwards and Paul G. Cassell filed their lawsuit late Tuesday, one day after Dershowitz told CNN they are the "villains" in this case and that they had failed to adequately investigate their client's allegations against him. He said he would move to have them disbarred.

Edwards and Cassell allege in their lawsuit that Dershowitz's statements are false and were a way to direct attention away from the allegations made against him by their client.
