Police say they found three guns and dozens of rounds of ammunition, along with maps, candles and survival gear in an abandoned airplane hangar near where Pennsylvania ambush suspect Eric Frein (freen) was captured last week.

Search warrant documents released Wednesday list more than 100 items recovered from the Birchwood-Pocono Airpark hangar, including a bolt-action rifle, a sniper rifle and a loaded pistol.

They also recovered five magazines and more than 200 rounds of ammunition.

Frein surrendered to U.S. marshals on Thursday following a 48-day manhunt. He was located in an open field near the former airpark.

Frein is charged with opening fire on the Blooming Grove state police barracks Sept. 12, killing one trooper and seriously wounding a second. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
