Police say at least 40 rounds were fired during a gun battle outside a Birmingham, Alabama, motorcycle club that killed two people and wounded two others.

Birmingham police say the shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday, outside the Showstoppers Motorcycle Club.

Police say the battle started during an argument between members of two separate motorcycle clubs.

Birmingham police Lt. Sean Edwards said Monday afternoon that detectives are not getting cooperation from potential witnesses. No arrests had been made.

Police say several people fired shots. The two who died had wounds to their chests and backs.

Edwards says the two people who were wounded are both expected to survive.
