Police say shooting kills 2, wounds 5 in New Orleans neighborhood; injured includes 2 children

NEW ORLEANS – Police say two people have been killed and five people, including a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old, were shot in the Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood in New Orleans.

Police spokesman Frank B. Robertson says the shooting happened Sunday night. He says the two children and another victim are in critical condition and two other are stable.

Robertson said he had no other immediate information to release.
