Authorities say the mother of three children killed when a sport utility vehicle that police said was carjacked crashed into a group on a north Philadelphia corner last month has passed away.
A Temple University Hospital spokeswoman confirmed Friday that 34-year-old Keisha Williams died Thursday night but could provide no other details.
Williams had been hospitalized in critical condition since the July 25 crash that killed 15-year-old Keiearra Williams, 10-year-old Thomas Joseph Reed and 7-year-old Terrance Moore as they were selling fruit for a church fundraiser. Their funeral was held Monday. Also injured were a family friend who was nearby and the woman who had been carjacked.
Twenty-three-year-old Cornelius Crawford and 19-year-old Johnathan Rosa have been charged with murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, robbery, aggravated assault and sexual assault.
