Chicago police responding to shooting at downtown high-rise office building

CHICAGO – Chicago police are responding to a reported shooting at a downtown high-rise office building.

The police department isn't confirming details, but an officer came out of the building in the city's business district saying the situation was contained around 10:40 a.m. Thursday.

A worker in the building says building security sent an email around 10 a.m. saying there was as security situation in lobby and asking them to stay at their desks.
