PHILADELPHIA – Investigators are talking to two people in the search for two carjackers who rammed a stolen sport utility vehicle into a family in north Philadelphia, killing three children.
A police spokeswoman cautioned Monday that the two males are not being called suspects.
Investigators have said they are working hard to apprehend the carjackers, who they say fled on foot after crashing the vehicle Friday at an intersection where 34-year-old Keisha Williams and her three children were selling fruit for a church fundraiser.
Williams remains hospitalized along with a 65-year-old woman who was helping the family at the fruit stand and the 45-year-old woman who was carjacked.
A $110,000 reward is being offered in the homicide investigation for information leading to the capture and conviction of those responsible.
