Investigators looking into an unlicensed Massachusetts funeral director accused of stealing from customers say they've found human remains in a rented storage unit.

The Suffolk district attorney says investigators found multiple sets of remains at a public storage facility in Weymouth on Thursday as part of an investigation of Joseph O'Donnell.

O'Donnell has been held on $10,000 bail after pleading not guilty in April to theft of $12,000 in funeral prepayments from an elderly couple.

Prosecutors say they also seized cremated remains at another storage facility in Somerville on Wednesday in connection with the case. They say no foul play is suspected in the deaths and they're working with the state medical examiner to identify the remains.

It's unknown who represents O'Donnell.
