There are new hearings this evening into the scandalized Veterans Affairs agency and how it's run. Mike Emanuel reporting. Shannon Bream reports on the new VA Secy.

The exchange of rockets between Gaza and Israel continues this morning. The Israelis say the shot down an unmanned drone near the southern city of Ashdod.. the first time the Israelis have encountered that type of missile. Terrorists have fired at least 1,000 rockets at Israel. Israeli counter-attacks have killed dozens of Palestinians. There is the distinct possibility ground forces could move into the Palestinian territories. There's also been exchanges of fire between Lebanon and Israel.

New fighting on the Syria/Lebanon border has also left several people dead.

The deadline for a deal with Iran over its nuclear program is just a few days away, and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is warning the sides remain far apart. He's meeting today with Iran's top diplomat in Vienna.

North Korea acting aggressively again. The dictatorship fired dozens of rockets near the border with South Korea. It comes after two missile launches on Saturday.

Boko Haram claiming responsibility for two terror attacks in Lagos, Nigeria. The group is demanding the release of some of its captured fighters.

A fast-moving fire in southern Oregon has forced dozens of people to evacuate. There's already been homes destroyed. Officials will know the extent of the damage so far later this morning.

100 homes in Skippack Township, PA have been evacuated due to a mysterious odor. We'll add a reporter on this developing story.

Carl Cameron reporting today on the West Virginia senate race which is set to elect its first female Senator. Both leading candidates are women.

Garrett Tenney reporting on the declining honey bee population.

Germany won the World Cup yesterday. Violence marred the celebrations in Buenos Aires (Argentina lost 1-0 against Germany). Several dozen were hurt.

It's Bastille Day in France.. with the country inviting the 76 countries involved in World War I to march down the Champs-Elysees in Paris in a show of peace. It's the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
