Wild pigs are being blamed for a break in an irrigation canal near Sanger, California.

According to ABC30, water flooded fields and nearby homes were evacuated.

The pigs reportedly dug burrows into the canal bank and when water was put into it, a section of the bank gave way.

Water was cut to more than 100,000 acres of farmland, the report said.
