DALLAS – A North Texas man suspected in a daylong series of shootings that ended with five people dead has been indicted in four of those killings.
Charles Brownlow was indicted Friday in the deaths of his mother, aunt and two other people who lived in the town of Terrell (TEHR'-uhl), east of Dallas.
He already faced a capital murder charge for the death of a store clerk.
Authorities accuse the 36-year-old Brownlow of killing his aunt, mother, a couple living in a different neighborhood and a store clerk during the evening of Oct. 28. He then led police on a high-speed chase that ended with his arrest in a creek.
Prosecutors say they intend to seek the death penalty.
Brownlow's attorney, Jack Stoffregen, did not immediately return a phone message.
