Chronology from authorities of key events in the case of a Southern California woman who says she was abducted as a girl by her mother's boyfriend, sexually assaulted, and forced into marriage and motherhood before re-emerging this week after 10 years.

— February 2004: 15-year-old girl arrives in the U.S. from Mexico and moves in with mother and mother's boyfriend, Isidro Garcia.

— June-August 2004: Garcia groped, kissed and raped the victim while living with family.

— August 2004: Garcia kidnaps the girl, taking her to a home in Compton and holds her against her will.

— Aug. 3-5, 2004: Mother files a missing persons report.

— 2007: Garcia and the victim marry.

— Oct. 27, 2010: Victim gives birth to their daughter.

— April 2014: Victim contacts sister on Facebook to wish her happy birthday; meets with her mother soon after.

— May 19, 2014: Victim lodges domestic violence complaint with Bell Gardens police; Santa Ana police contacted about old missing persons case; Garcia arrested.

— May 22, 2014: Garcia is charged with five felonies including kidnapping, rape. His attorney denies the allegations, saying they were made up by his wife amid a breakup.
