Georgia's Kennesaw State warns on its website of possible armed man on campus

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State University in Georgia has posted an emergency alert on its website saying there is possibly an armed man on campus.

Calls to campus police returned a busy signal at the school about 30 miles northwest of Atlanta Friday afternoon.

WSB-TV reports that the school is on lockdown.

Located in the fast-growing suburbs north of Atlanta, Kennesaw State is the third-largest public university in the state and has more than 21,000 traditional and non-traditional students.
