Authorities say they want to question a man who has been arrested eight times since 2000 about his possible role in a car's crash into a Florida daycare center that left one girl dead and injured 14 others, mostly children.
Police in the Orlando area are searching for 26-year-old Robert Corchado, whom they describe as a "person of interest" in the crash into the KinderCare building Wednesday afternoon in the city of Winter Park.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Corchado was the driver of a Dodge Durango that struck a convertible before the convertible jumped a curb and crashed through a wall of the day care building. They didn't say how they knew Corchado was the driver.
Police say they believe Corchado was trying to flee the area.
