Two weeks after a devastating mudslide in rural Washington state, the people who survived by luck or circumstances are trying to make sense of their experiences.

LoAnna Langton lived just 150 feet away from the devastation in Oso. She heard and saw it happen and then got her four children, their three friends who were visiting, her mother and her great-aunt to safety. Langton feels God was protecting her family.

Pastor Mike DeLuca of Darrington's First Baptist Church says he's been hearing many stories of others who were close to the mudslide but lived.

DeLuca says it's been hard for the survivors, including people who lost friends in the slide but were never in danger themselves.
