CONCORD, N.H. – A New Hampshire man sought for more than two years after he jumped bail on drug charges has been captured in Michigan.
U.S. Marshals in New Hampshire say 52-year-old Shaun Ellis was captured less than a week after he was profiled online as the state's "Fugitive of the Week."
Federal officials say a tipster recognized Ellis from the online posting and provided information that led to marshals locating Ellis in Brownstown Township, Michigan, south of Detroit.
Ellis's last known address was in Unity, and he failed to appear in Sullivan County Superior Court in January 2012 on charges of forged or false prescriptions.
He's being jailed in Michigan until marshals can transfer him to New Hampshire.
