Man charged with kidnapping, murder of Tenn. woman Holly Bobo pleads not guilty

DECATURVILLE, Tenn. – A Tennessee man accused of kidnapping and killing 20-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo has pleaded not guilty.

Bobo disappeared from her home almost three years ago. Zachary Adams has been charged in her death.

Attorney Jennifer Lynn Thompson appeared in court on Tuesday and entered the plea on Adams' behalf.

Adams was shackled at the wrists and wore a black and tan striped jumpsuit during the hearing, which lasted less than five minutes.

Judge Creed McGinley asked Adams if he understood the charges, and Adams replied, "Yes, sir."

An April 9 status hearing was set.
