Russian Noose Tightens on Crimea; Riveting Testimony in Pistorius Murder Trial; Mystery Plane Crash

A new survey says the rate of Uninsured continues to drop, and is the lowest since 2008. The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index suggests 15.9% of Americans lack health insurance coverage.. down from 17.1% in 2013. Gallup says the timing lines up with the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

Big Brother is watching. The Associated Press reports today the U.S. will conduct a sweeping electronic check of many of the 5 million government workers who have secret clearances.

A large earthquake rattled nerves in California. The 6.9 quake hit off the coast in upper Northern California not far from Eureka. The quake happened at about 10:18 last night. No injuries or major damage reported, but there have been several aftershocks and the quake was widely felt.

There's frightening video of a stage collapse at a school theater in Anaheim, CA. 25 students had to go the hospital after the accident.. that was all caught on tape. Investigators trying to figure out what happened.

More questions than answers today in the jet that disappeared over the South China Sea this weekend. The plane carrying 239 was traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it disappeared. Two of the passengers were flying on stolen passports, but investigators don't know if they had anything to do with the apparent crash.

New security measures announced today for the Boston Marathon in light of the terror attack on the race last year that left three dead.

President Obama and the Ukrainian Prime Minister will meeting this Wednesday in Washington. Russia continues to insist it is protecting Crimea as it tightens its grip on the Russia-loyal portion of Ukraine. The Russians are set to begin massive air defense drills expected to go on for weeks.
