A Connecticut man is in custody after he left alone in his idling car his 2-year-old daughter, who put the vehicle into drive, smashing it into parked cars.
West Hartford Police arrested Oscar Chicas, 33, on Saturday afternoon, charging him with risk of injury, FOX CT reports. He is being held on $15,000 bond.
Authorities say Chicas’ daughter was left in a running car and managed to put the car into drive, where it struck two vehicles, causing minor damage.
The child was not injured in the incident and Chicas was located nearby working on a disabled vehicle with his brother, according to FOX CT. The child was left with her uncle.
