NYFW - Badgley Mischka Fall 2014 and a Possible Preview of What You'll See at the Oscars

Badgley Mischka showed their 2014 fall collection at New York Fashion Week just in time for the Oscars where you'll no doubt see a few of their sparkly gowns.

There were echoes of several trends repeated all over fashion week including the use of fur, the color white, and metallics.

Badgley Mischka standouts included a dress in shiny gold, and another white sheath with gold at the neckline.

The designers, Mark Badgley and James Mischka, have been in business since the late 1980's, but the partners have become known especially for gowns. This year they're celebrating 25 years in business together.

They've said they were inspired by Vienna at the turn of the last century.

Among the celebrities at the show were actress Crissy Tiegen and models Petra Nemcova and Lydia Hearst.
