NYFW - Zang Toi Visits Shanghai of the 1920's for Fall 2014

The always entertaining designer Zang Toi took on China of the 1920's for his fall 2014 collection at Lincoln Center for fashion week.

The Malaysian-born Toi, mirroring other designers this season like Anna Sui and Vivienne Tam, seemed to find inspiration in idyllic Western views of the once-exotic port of Shanghai.

Toi last season was all about the ballet. This year, it was heavy on glamour with clothes dripping with jewels and fur.
