NYFW - Moncler Puts on an Opera for Fall 2014 at New York Fashion Week

Moncler Grenoble - known for those luxury puffer coats - put on quite a spectacle at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City for Fashion Week. The giant theater on 34th Street was packed with spectators. The main stage consisted of a giant wall of cubicles showing 60 looks from the Moncler fall 2014 collection including the trademark down-filled coats and ski hats. Also on the stage? Members of The Pendulum Choir, founded by a pair of Swedish artists, sang opera while being moved robotically by a giant machine while the boxes of models flashed light patterns. The suits worn by the choir were made in the signature Moncler puffer fabric. It was bizzarre, cool and confounding at the same time.
