NYFW - Mara Hoffman Expands Her Rainbow for Fall 2014

New York-based designer Mara Hoffman is always masterful in the use of color in her clothes, and fall 2014 didn't disappoint. Usually Hoffman provides a color explosion, but this season it seemed a little more muted with a lot more black and white added to the collection. In a press release, Hoffman said she was inspired by the art, landscapes, textiles and jewelry of Northern Africa. You can see that with some Muslim influences in the collection. One of the standouts.. a sweater with double horses in this Chinese New Year of the Horse.
