NYFW - Anna Sui & An Art Deco Vision of Asia for Fall 2014

The invitation for the Anna Sui Fall 2014 fashion show was a vision in Art Deco design with its rich bright red, and classic architectural pattern. The clothes she showed at New York Fashion Week fit that vision as did the set.. all a nod to the design movement, only named later, that ran from the 1920's to the 1940's.

Sui showed classic symbols of Asia as seen by the West during the time period. With mandarin collars, dragon emblems, and opium den decadance.

The clothes had a louche, dreamy feel.
