A judge will decide if there is enough evidence to send two women to trial on charges they stomped and kicked a 23-year-old woman to death in a fight outside a popular California nightclub.
Both 25-year-old Vanesa Zavala and 27-year-old Candace Brito have pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of Annie Hung Kim Pham.
Pham was taken off life support after a fight outside The Crosby in Santa Ana on Jan. 18.
Police have reviewed cell phone videos of the incident and had been looking for a third person of interest.
They have said they were having trouble finding witnesses who were with Pham.
Pham, who lived in Huntington Beach, was a recent college graduate and aspiring writer who would have celebrated her first wedding anniversary last week.
