Prosecutors have rested their case in the depraved-heart murder trial of a woman charged with helping arrange the silicone buttocks injections that authorities say killed the customer.

Natasha Stewart of suburban Memphis, Tenn., is on trial in Jackson, Miss., in the March 2012 death of Karima Gordon of Atlanta.

Prosecutors concluded their case Thursday.

Defense lawyer Kevin Camp says he'll call two or three witnesses Friday.

Stewart is an adult entertainer also known as Pebbelz Da Model. She is charged with taking $200 for a referral to the injector and falsely representing that the person was a nurse.

Depraved-heart murder is a legal term for an action that demonstrates a "callous disregard for human life" and results in death. It carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
