An employee of a McDonald's restaurant in Pittsburgh is charged with selling heroin in Happy Meals.
Investigators in the county district attorney's office received a tip that an employee was selling heroin at a McDonald's in the East Liberty section of the city.
Officers say customers looking for heroin were told to go through the drive-thru and say "I'd like to order a toy." The customer would then be told to drive to a window, where they'd hand over their money and get a Happy Meal box containing heroin in exchange.
Undercover agents on Wednesday set up a fake drug buy and arrested 26-year-old employee Shania Dennis of East Pittsburgh.
Dennis denied wrongdoing to reporters as she was being led away in handcuffs.
