A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Washington over the weekend as he was posing for pictures being taken by his girlfriend, authorities say.
The Auburn Fire Department said the 42-year-old Las Vegas man was sitting on train tracks Saturday afternoon when an Amtrak Cascades Train plowed into him, Kirotv.com reports.
The train was heading to Seattle from Portland, and none of the 130 people on board the train were hurt. The man who was killed was not identified.
Police have closed down the area to investigate the death.
