A Massachusetts couple has claimed their share of a $122 million Powerball jackpot.

Maureen and Stephen Hinkley of Sterling went to state lottery headquarters Thursday to claim a lump sum payment of $23.9 million after taxes. A Nebraska couple won the other half of the Dec. 11 drawing.

Maureen Hinckley told the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester (http://bit.ly/1de0Uwi) the drawing came two days before her 58th birthday. She's played the numbers, a combination of family birth dates, since 2010 when Powerball came to Massachusetts.

The Hinkleys say they have no immediate plans for the money beyond taking care of their children and grandchildren.

Maureen Hinkley told the newspaper she figures she won the money for a reason "and hopefully I'll figure out what to do with it."
