Authorities say three teens have been shot in Newark and media reports say two of them have been killed.

Newark Police Director Samuel DeMaio tells The Star-Ledger newspaper the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday not far from Interstate 78 and Irvington, a neighboring city. DeMaio says the victims were juveniles. Their conditions were not immediately available.

WNBC-TV is reporting that two teenagers have been killed, a male and a female, and a third has been wounded.
